Gua sha helps with pain, inflammation, and immune support. Gua sha is a hands-on medical treatment that has been used throughout Asia for centuries. Gua sha uses a smooth-edged instrument, such as a jade stone, porcelain spoon, or a lid. The purpose of gua sha is to remove pathogenic blood stagnation from the body.

“Gua” means to rub and “sha” refers to the little red dots called ‘petechiae’ that appear when Gua is applied in repeated strokes on the skin. The red dots are transitory and therapeutic.

One may immediately feel pain relief even before session ends.
